Last year I was running past the flowers and did not stop to smell the Roses. This year when things get busy, I remind myself to slow down and breathe.. to take my time with the happenings of this World.
There are Four World Ages we call "Yugas." We are currently living in Kali Yuga- the 4th and worst of them all, filled with Conflict & Sin.
All we can do to protect our consciousness is surrounding ourselves with positive higher frequencies and absorbing that knowledge & energy.
Spiritual knowledge can be obtained by practicing what the Rishis or saints did to receive insight. Chanting Hare Krsna frees my mind and my soul from the prison that society was designed to put you in. It's important to cultivate these outlets of freedom and knowing you are this fully expressive being who is not easily influenced by Maya (illusory energy-money, people, material items, situations etc)
