For any platform such as RouGee to remain relevant for a long time, there is need for a sound principles and practice to be adhere to by users else such platform won't survive the test of time.

Below are seven things or practice that can destroy a platform quickly.

1. Lack of engagement.

Engagement is the hub that keep any platform going. When engagement dies, interest dies also, and when interest die platform is isolated. Every author love to be engaged on any content published, but when the reverse is the case the zeal to write more gradually dies. This will eventually leads to the platform been abandoned.

Everything is not about money. When you make a post on Facebook and you get a 100 likes and comments, you are motivated to make more interesting post. That's the way i also feel when I see the notification of reactions on my post.

Although, RouGee makes it easy for everyone to engage with others' content by giving reward for such action, we are yet to see quality engagement on a post. Also, we don't know how it will be for articles. 

2. Not following back those who followed you.

As much as we want people to follow us here in RouGee, we must also remember these people are like us. They need following too. When you don't follow your followers you are not encouraging them. 

We need to support each other by subscribing each other, else the fun died so quickly.

3. Not reading and commenting on others post.

This is serious, when we don't border to read or comment on other people articles and we expect them to read and comment on our articles, it is a downplay on others and a sign of pride to us.

Read.cash is a community for writers. And there is no group regarded as readers. Writers are also readers. We expect people to read and comment on our articles, we should do same on others articles. People can easily be discouraged when there's no feedback on there work.

4. Having multiple accounts 

Having multiple accounts especially for a free user can be inimical to the platform. Even if there's a system that detects fake accounts, some notorious users can still find a way around it to cheat the system. This can result to a ban in account if found out. On the other hand, such dubious act if not checkmate can bring problem to the platform. 

5. Feeling better than others.

Everyone has some pride. But in a social platform such as RouGee, users need to see each other as equal. RouGee has no special preference for anyone, but when you feel you are better than others by downplaying their work, you are not encouraging others. This may lead to apathy among new users and discouraged them to give their best.

6. Arrogant and abusive comments.

Arrogant and abusive comments can easily destroy a platform if left unchecked. RouGee is a users interactive platform. But when users start making abusive comments there is bound to be trouble which may lead to account being blocked by the system technical team. And that means one or two users have gone.

7. Spam content or lack of quality.

This can easily degrade a platform. A platform such as RouGee will be respected based on the quality of contents or posts published there. This can brings partnership and investors to partner with the platform by sponsorship and other incentives to keep the platform running for a long time.

When contents published in a platform are of no use to anyone, such platforms find it difficult to survive for a long time.
