Golden Jackal
This wolf-like animal is found in South Asia and Europe. It is also found in Pakistan. Its habitat is in the plains of Pakistan where there are fewer trees and more grass (and it is more common in our Sindh region). Food includes deer, rabbits, birds and small animals. If it is alone, it does not attack humans. Usually at night, a group of them can attack humans. It later hides its scent by covering it with dirt so that no other animals smell its scent and attack. Its average lifespan is up to six years.
