Ashhadu allah ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh.

Translation: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone without any partners, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger."

This declaration, known as the Shahada, is the Islamic creed and the first of the Five Pillars of Islam. It is a testimony of faith and a fundamental belief in the oneness of Allah and the prophethood of Muhammad. Muslims recite the Shahada as a way of affirming their belief in Islam.
