Life's Challenge: The Journey of Nuar, a Civil Servant in Perak

Introduction:

Nuar, a young man from a small village in Perak, Malaysia, was determined to make a difference in his life and the lives of those around him. Growing up in a rural Malay village, Nuar's early years were filled with the joys and challenges of village life. He attended the Anglo Chinese School in Kampar and later, the Malay College Kuala Kangsar, where he excelled in his studies and sports. However, Nuar's journey was not without its obstacles, and he faced many challenges along the way.

Early Life and Education:

Nuar was born in Kampong Jeram, Kampar, Perak, to a family of modest means. His father was a rubber tapper, and his mother, a homemaker. The youngest of six children, Nuar was raised in a traditional Malay village setting, surrounded by lush green forests and rubber plantations. He spent his childhood playing with his friends, exploring the outdoors, and helping his parents with their work.

Nuar's academic journey began at the Anglo Chinese School in Kampar, where he excelled in his studies and was selected to continue his education at the prestigious Malay College Kuala Kangsar. This was a significant moment in Nuar's life, as it marked the beginning of his journey towards achieving his dreams.

Challenges and Setbacks:

Despite his academic success, Nuar faced several challenges and setbacks along the way. He was not selected to continue his studies at the sixth form level at MCKK, which was a disappointment for him. However, he did not let this setback deter him from pursuing his goals. Instead, he accepted an offer to study at DERMA, Perlis, where he continued to excel in his studies and extramural activities.

Nuar's determination and perseverance paid off when he was offered a Diploma in Public Health (Royal Society of Health Diploma London) in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. Graduating from there, he continued to serve the country as a civil servant with the Ministry of Health in Perak.

Service to the Country:

Nuar's career as a civil servant was marked by his dedication and commitment to serving the country. He was determined to make a difference in the lives of the people, particularly those in rural areas who were struggling with poverty and disease.

At the time, Malaria Fever was a significant threat to the country, particularly in rural areas. Nuar saw this as an opportunity to make a positive impact and took on the challenge with perseverance. He worked tirelessly to educate the public about the disease, its prevention, and treatment. His efforts were focused on the rural Bumiputera and Orang Asli communities, who were most affected by the disease.

Nuar's work took him across the country's borders, and he traveled to Thailand to learn about their healthcare system and how they were addressing similar challenges. His experiences and knowledge gained from these trips helped him to better understand the needs of the people and develop effective strategies to address them.

Retirement and Community Work:

After many years of dedicated service, Nuar retired from the civil service. However, he did not stop working. He continued to accumulate deeds that would bring forgiveness and the pleasure of Allah Subhanahuawataala. He helped elderly, old poor folks by soliciting funds from friends to distribute around the locality. His parents' house was converted into a hostel for a Tahfiz school, providing a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow.
