The deer of the Indonesian President's palace in Bogor are a perfect example of how all living things are connected. These deers have been living on the palace grounds for years, and their connection to the land and the people who live there is strong. The deers are a symbol of the Indonesian people's connection to their land and their history, and they remind us that we are all connected to each other and to the natural world.

I was with my family in Jakarta attending the regional ESRI South Asia user conference in 1995. We decided to hire a car to go to Puncak, a mountain resort area about two hours outside of Jakarta. On the way, we passed by the presidential palace in Bogor. The palace grounds are huge and beautiful, and we saw many deer roaming around. It was a really neat experience to see such majestic animals up close behind the fences. It was nice to see them roam freely some running, some jumping or hoping, others plain laying on the ground.

Biodiversity is essential to our lives and the health of our planet. It provides us with food, clean water, and air, and helps to regulate the climate. Without biodiversity, we would not be able to survive. The Indonesian President's palace in Bogor is home to a variety of deer, which helps to contribute to the biodiversity of the area. By protecting and conserving this biodiversity, we are helping to ensure our own survival.

We must unite to protect, restore, and preserve the likes of Bogor. This magnificent structure is a symbol of our country's rich history and culture, and it is our responsibility to ensure that it is preserved for future generations. By working together, we can ensure that the palace is restored to its former glory and that it remains a source of pride for all Indonesians.
