OUTLINE OF A SOLDIER'S LIFE JOURNEY

SUNGAI BESI, 17 Disember 2021

This book chronicles the life biography of Major General Dato' Amir bin Baharudin (Ret) of the Malaysian Military service and compiles his experiences into one book. He is the author.

All commanders and soldiers in the Malaysian Army appreciate previous army training commander Major General Dato 'Amir bin Baharudin (Ret) (TDM). His legacy and skill, particularly in combat training, have been successful in establishing a TDM leadership line that is incredibly authoritative.

The experiences of Major General Dato' Amir bin Baharudin (Ret) have been compiled in the form of this book so that they can be used as a lesson for current and future Malaysian Military Service generations.

In his remarks, Major General Dato' Amir bin Baharudin (Ret) expressed the expectation that TDM staffs would be able to use all the information in the text in the present and in the future to direct the career path of a TDM officer.

In his remarks, Tan Sri PTD also thanked Major General Dato' Amir, also referred to as "Amir Guntur," for his contribution. A moniker that was at the time well-known to all people living in TDM. His opinions and experiences ought to be written down for the benefit of TDM citizens.

Tan Sri PTD also wishes for future generations to constantly protect military history by using the book MY AIM IS THE SKY: A SOLDIER'S LIFE PHILOSOPHY as a source of information and reference. Hopefully not all of Major General Dato' Amir's wisdom and expertise will be lost to the passage of time.

The ceremony was completed by the author giving a symbolic presentation of the book to Armed Forces Commanders and Commanders who were also present and who had previously been student trainees at the Junior Combat Officers School, Kota Belud, who had attained the highest TDM ranking. 200 copies of the book were distributed.

Indeed, TDM will continue to support these military archiving initiatives so that every incident and experience that has been passed down through the years won't be forgotten and can be used to impart knowledge, offer direction, or inspire future generations. The best kind of experiential learning

This book's release is also in keeping with the 28th PTD Prime Order's "Improving Military-Community Relations" pillar, which focuses on issues of fostering public trust.
