i am not a novel person but I want to be

I love to red novels when my friends are discussing it and having fun to discuss little and cute detail of novel then at that time I used to think.. Ooo gosh I have wasted my entire life. 

Why I haven't read novels before ?but I got passionate when I listen to it but right after this when I try to read a novel.. I just get sleepy it seems boring to me. 

Why is it.. So I am someone in between novel reader and novel hater.
