THE DAILY BUSTLE

Reflecting on the everyday life of an average person. Looking to meet the goal while trying to meet ends

In a country that never sleeps, it's 5:12 am. The struggle for daily bread begins. Take a quick shower, have breakfast or don't, no one actually cares. Put some effort into your outfit, it might speak for you today, never can tell.

struggle to get to the park and fight for your space in the train or bus, annoying and never caring people bumping into you and pushing hard because they also have it hard, no one likes taking a bus or train. Flash a fake smile when the little baby looks up at you, try to appear kind.
Get to work and settle in your space and breath a little sigh of relief at least you made it in time.

Then meet a very annoying co-worker who thinks everyone likes them but it's quite the opposite, ask about your night like they really care, try to appear nice and answer back because you want to just get the day over with.

start the day's job and talk to rude clients over the phone because you don't get paid enough for that but just have to, bills pilling up.

during lunch break, you seat with few co-workers and discuss work and life but you don't want to be there  because you're thinking about your life in the next 2-3 years.
Still haven't reached your goal, very far from it, wondering if you'll ever get to have that life and marry that dream person.

close to 5pm and you're already jittery because you just want to be in your own world again, invited for drinks by the co-worker but rejected because tomorrow is another work day.

home at last, have a hot shower or not that's if the water bill has been paid, eat food you microwaved, leftovers from yesterday, sit and watch tv for a while them doze off on the sofa, wake up 20 minutes later and drag your tired body to the bedroom.

The hustle bustle continues tomorrow in a country that never sleeps.
