Dissecting the song

To the wilderness we ascend, the winning ace.

.

Stanza I) Within the rhythm of the universe to the farthest ends, beats a pulse less sweet to mankind's condescending trends. Retreat, back to the verdant bush, thrumming with an eternal beat, amongst the gnarled oaks and sheltered ferns, a solitude so neat. The solace we unearth, where heaven and earth do greet.

Refrain) “Retreat unto the bush,” we chant with sincerest delight, Escaping the concrete labyrinth, the city’s bustling night, Our illumination, the celestial bodies shining bright, With Nature as our audience, in peaceful quiet, our flight.

Stanza II) Forget not, transient voyagers beneath the infinite sapphire vault, in liberation do we exist, beneath the sky's perennial assault, shunning the city's lure, uttering our final retort, aloft in the wilderness, our spirits catapult.

Refrain) “Retreat unto the bush,” our united voices affirm, In the raw grit of existence, against the urban regime we squirm, Mocking the world’s folly, staking our defiant claim, unto the wild we succumb, redefining worldly fame.

(Ω) Hark! Embrace the melody of the solitudes, kindred soul,

Stanza I) Upon the wilderness we venture, with nature's song in supreme control, retreating into the brush, fashioning a new role, Through warped roots and curious creatures, our hearts unroll. Not the distance travelled, but life embraced, our goal.

Hook) "Retreat unto the bush," our spirited call reverberates round, No steel monstrosities, no urban plume to be found. Simply to nature's rhythm, to her hymn we are bound, Absence of stress inherent in a life thus crown’d.

Stanza II) Heed this lesson, rats in the urban chase, elevated on nature's essence, an organic base. Loathed city, a blight, fled from thy face, To the wilderness we ascend, the winning ace.

Hook) "Retreat unto the bush", announce our victorious strain, No more the empty glitter of the city's sparkling vein, Mocking the world, the score of the concrete bane, retreating into the wilderness, the genuine refrain.
